Canadian coloratura soprano, Adria Jackson, holds a
Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in Music (voice) from
Brock University, St. Catharines, ON, Canada. She has also
studied voice with Joanne Hounsel at the Victoria
Conservatory of Music, BC, Canada, and with Dr. Garry
Gable professor of the University of Saskatchewan,
Saskatoon, SK, Canada. She is currently studying with
accomplished vocal coach Chris Gould, Borehamwood,
Hertfordshire, who has previously coached the Jette Parker
Young Artists Programme, Covent Garden.

Adria has enjoyed organizing and performing in numerous
recitals and concerts as a soloist in Canada and the UK.
Recital repertoire includes everything from Norwegian
songs of Edvard Grieg, French art songs and arias and
numerous sacred songs and arias.

Adria has taught vocal tuition for the past twelve years
specialising in classical vocal tuition. Her evenings are
spent teaching her private singing students from her home
music studio. Two days a week, she teaches singing and
music curriculum at two separate primary Catholic schools
in London. On Saturday mornings she teaches vocal
technique and musical theatre repertoire for the Hertsmere
Academy of Dance and Performing Arts. Adria is the choir
director, nursery group leader and cantor for St. Paul's
Lutheran Church, Borehamwood.
